Human Frequency

The project developed for Laifen starts from a central idea: technology doesn’t only measure movement—it can also adapt to it and take care of it.

From this premise, the work explores the relationship between engineering and sensitivity, between technical precision and bodily experience. Laifen designs products that operate through vibration, rotation, and airflow. These physical principles become the project’s visual point of departure.

The proposal translates those invisible forces—the energy that moves air, the motor’s frequency, the brush’s oscillation—into a graphic language capable of making them visible. The concept is framed through the idea of Human Frequency: an energy that aligns with the body’s vital rhythm.

From there, the visual system is built as a choreography of waves and color densities, where air breaks down into chromatic layers crossed by frequency lines.

The painting begins in a digital environment—not as a simulation of traditional techniques, but as a contemporary language with its own rules. The precision of the digital medium allows vibration, rotation, and undulation to be treated as controlled visual parameters. That language is then brought into the physical world through the manual application of acrylic paint on the products—hair dryers and toothbrushes—turning each piece into a unique intervention.

One of the project’s core axes is its performative construction. The result is an intervention that comes from movement: a proposal in which graphic design and painting enter into dialogue with Laifen’s engineering to create a visual experience consistent with the brand’s philosophy. Technology, care, and emotion meet within a single formal system, where the energy of air is transformed into visible form.
