My Experience
Martin studied Fine Arts at the University of Seville and Winchester, UK.
This allowed him to connect the history of painting with contemporary graphic design, creating a field of study that has evolved between the two disciplines.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with both national and international brands: McDonald's, Google, HP, AT&T, IBM, Pink Lady, National Nederlanden, Deloitte, Samsung, Apple, Beefeater, Harper's Bazaar, Osborne, and more.
Philosophy
His work philosophy stems from the relationship between graphic design, painting, and the empty spaces that emerge between the two.
His work doesn't seek to solve problems, but rather to explore graphic complexities and break with the functionality of design. In this way, his work becomes materials for thinking and devices for imagining.
His vision is built on the concept of the singular. He starts from the premise that every individual-object-corporation is composed of multitudes. It is a journey from the molecular to the molar, intersected by movements of relationships and alliances to develop a vital and organic chemistry that results in this singular character.
Emotional Design
Her relationship with craftsmanship is a conceptual act in which she uses graphic material to elevate the container form. "It's not the act of creating a chair to sit on, but the act of conceptualizing the chair as a map that brings us closer to the sensation of sitting on it, regardless of its functionality."
Her personal vision filters through the political, emptiness as the generative nucleus of desire and subjectivity.
Her idea is not to elevate design to the category of art, but rather to elevate design to an emotional category that makes us reflect.
She lives, works, and studies in Seville.
