Incorruptus - Original work

€1.800,00
Select Title

This graphic work is constructed from a dynamic and plural vision of the face, conceived not as a fixed entity, but as something that is in constant transformation. Here, the face is presented as an open space, a mutable entity that responds to invisible forces that shape it from the darkness, suggesting that there is no definitive "face" or conclusive way of being.

The work raises profound questions about the nature of the face: Is the face a finished work or a process in continuous development? Is there something in it that remains incorruptible over time, or is its very essence constant change? This questioning invites us to reflect on the impermanence of things, on how movement and experiences corrupt any attempt at permanence or eternity in the face, and by extension, in identity.

The face, as presented in this work, is more than a physical form; it is a sensation, a mobile response that is incessantly constructed and deconstructed. The incorruptible does not belong to this world, but to a search that, perhaps, never finds a definitive conclusion.

In this performance, the viewer is invited to contemplate the possibility of the unfinished, the non-static, and to understand that perpetuity is an illusion in the face of the power of movement and the passage of time. The face, in its constant change, reflects the complexity of human identity and its ephemeral nature.

The creation process varies for each work. Generally, the pieces are the result of a prior infographic study, and are printed using the Giclée technique, which guarantees exceptional quality. Then, each work is retouched by hand with materials such as wax pencil or watercolor, ensuring that each piece is unique in its conception and in the diversity of techniques used.

The works are produced on acid-free, alkaline-reserved Fine Art papers, which offer maximum durability. These high-end papers are composed primarily of cotton or alpha cellulose and have an estimated lifespan of over 100 years without significant color alterations. The materials used have been previously tested by Wilhelm Imaging Research , which ensures their longevity and resistance.

To ensure the safety of the pieces during transport, we implement double packaging and use protective tubes for the appropriate sizes. Each work is carefully packed to ensure that it arrives in perfect condition at its destination.

The works are usually shipped within 5 to 7 working days after receipt of the order. However, since some pieces are not stored directly in the studio for conservation reasons, this period may vary. In the event of a delay, the buyer will be notified by email.

To preserve the quality of Fine Art prints, it is essential to protect them from moisture and direct sunlight . Exposure to UV rays can cause progressive fading.
